The Foundation of She Belongs

The Constitution of She Belongs establishes the guiding principles, governance structure, and operational framework that ensure accountability, transparency, and impact in advancing the empowerment, protection, and inclusion of women and girls.

Article I – Name & Legal Status

The organization shall be known as She Belongs, a non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization committed to promoting equality, dignity, and opportunity for women and girls.

Our vision is a world where every woman and girl feels valued, safe, and empowered. Our mission is to provide education, advocacy, mentorship, and support programs that foster leadership, confidence, and equal participation in society.

Article III – Membership

Membership is open to individuals who support the mission of She Belongs and commit to upholding its values, policies, and ethical standards.

Article IV – Governance Structure

The organization shall be governed by a Board of Directors responsible for strategic oversight, policy approval, financial stewardship, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Article V – Finance & Accountability

All funds shall be used solely to advance the objectives of She Belongs. Transparent financial records shall be maintained and reviewed regularly to ensure accountability to stakeholders and beneficiaries.
